Firebase shows up in older Remiam builds and where the brief specifically needed Firestore plus Cloud Functions plus a Mux pipeline — viewing platforms, ticketing systems, event-capture surfaces with public sharing. The Westfield Ocean Explorers viewing platform, the UEFA Women's Euros 2022 hype-tour platform, the Stage Stream ticketing system for the schools-performance group all sit on Firebase. The studio still picks it where realtime + auth + serverless functions are the brief, but defaults to Supabase for newer builds.
Stage Stream
A ticketing-and-live-stream platform built for a major UK schools-performance group. Families and supporters who can't make the venue in person buy a stream ticket through Stripe, watch the show live, and receive the recorded video by email afterwards. The admin backend lets the operator manage shows, venues, schools, pricing, discount codes, refunds, and customer service end-to-end. Designed once and redeployed yearly via an env switch — same codebase, new show year.
The Discovery Reef
A pose-tracked, fish-eye-camera-captured kids activation Remiam built for a UK shopping-mall family-activation tour. Children played a sequence of physical activities inside the activation zone, the camera and TensorFlow-powered pose detection recorded their session, and parents scanned a QR code to give permission and unlock the recorded clip for viewing online through a hosted family platform.
Trophy Tour
A multi-city UK activation tour built to build hype around a major football tournament. Pose-tracked keepy-uppy, an endless Mexican-wave loop where each visitor adds their wave to a growing crowd, a count-down-and-record goal celebration composited into a real goal scene, a studio-experience zone, and a Firebase-backed viewing platform where visitors could find and share their clip afterwards.
